Rock slider advice

2020 JLUR

I need to purchase rock rails to replace the factory Rubicon rails.
I need it to have a step.
I have narrowed it down to these 2 products and need any info on which will offer more protection, I do go off-road in rocks, etc.

I have the rock hard patriot sliders on my 2-door and like them a lot. They are quite solid. Probably not as good a step as the roam which I had considered. Powder coat seems pretty durable on them as well.

We have these exact sliders on our JLU. We've had them a year now and they are a great step. Unfortunately no offroad experience with them yet. They are very well built.

Mine are the angled up version. Forgot they made the flat step.
