What are you trying to bring me down? I don't have a 90° fitting. I figure I'll just drop the arms one at a time?

Get the lock thingy that was posted on WAYALIFE to avoid grease spilling.

That’s great if you have full access to the zerk fitting. There are 4 or 6 points on the control arms where there isn’t enough room between the fitting and bracket to get a straight fitting in. The rears especially.

So I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that this is the most useless mod that I've done to the Jeep.....
So I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that this is the most useless mod that I've done to the Jeep:
The Mopar Storage Bin Liner.
Just in case you can't figure out how to install it, it came with these sweet directions:

Took out the beefy OE neoprene liner.

Inserted the new injection molded plastic bin liner.

I bought it because it was only 12 bucks on Amazon when I grabbed it August of 2018. Unfortunately it decreases the size of the storage space too much to fit the bottle jack and accessories that I like to store down there.
For nearly a year this thing has been kicking around our house with nothing to do.

So I'm on a mission for another AttaBoy... I'm going to make this thing useful, and get my 12 bucks out of it.
Turns out it's pretty good for the transport of bottled iced tea down to the basement refrigerator.

Damn... Apparently somebody misunderstood my quest for an AttaBoy. Still though, an AhoyBoy ain't too shabby.

I'll be sure to post up any further uses that I may find for the The Mopar Storage Bin Liner.
Boys and girls... It's that time again!

So I've never really liked the spline drive lug nuts that I've been using with my Machete wheels. Sooner or later the key is going to leave me stranded. Either I'm going to lose it, leave it at home after rotating tires or it's going to strip or break or something. Recently I was able to score a box of Gorilla lug nuts to replace my spline lug nuts.
14mm x 1.50 threads, 1.90" tall, 3/4" hex.

A deep well 3/4" socket is able to achieve excellent purchase on the new lug nuts while leaving ample space between the side of the socket and the wheel.

Here's the current condition of my spline drive key.

New lug nut vs old lug nut.
View attachment 12395
Here you can see one of the spline lug nuts still in place (1:00).
View attachment 12396
Although taller than the spline lug nuts, the new lug nuts are still shorter than the Machete hubcap.

Lug nuts installed and torqued.

I was able to find p/n 41148XLBC at a very reasonable price with a little searching online.

I always felt the same way about the spline nuts, while they do act as a wheel lock, I always feel like I'll miss place that key, with that said they are always what I seem to end up with lol
