They had no issue at all completing the Rubicon. I wasn't there so not sure what route they took through some of the obstacles.
The better part is it comes off with 2 additional nuts. I folded and removed one today. Took 5 min. If you really want to protect it, it's easier to just yank it. But I agree I don't see many folks doing it.While it’s a cool feature, I don’t see too many people doing it now or with the new JL. Maybe with an MB or CJ but not a JL.

There are slots in the windshield frame with straps that tie it to dash.That’s pretty cool it’s so much easier. Just kind of dusty out here on the left coast to be running without a windshield. Lol
Is there a lock on it to keep it from bouncing around when it’s folded down?
