Aluminum foil works really quickly for masking. No tape needed around most stuff. You just mold the foil and it stays there. Big time saver.

Although I do not have any personal experience with JK or JL Fender clips, I have read that they are not interchangeable. Why? I do not know. I just thought I'd give you a heads up so you can do a little more research.

I got them painted. The white fender clips are really bugging me now. Anyways, next project is the onboard air. Hopefully I can get the wayalife acm and arb compressor soon. Then a winch. 20190403_224539.jpeg20190403_224523.jpeg

With regards to the white fender clips... Have you thought about just picking up a bunch of black hole plugs? My local automotive store always has a pretty good selection. Also, as an alternative to painting, I wonder if soaking them in Black Rit Dye would work (that is if you can get them out without breaking them). That's how I change the colors on the plastic components on my RC trucks. I let them soak in undiluted dye overnight.

Went mudding today. I can't get into the mountains yet because of the snow. I don't have a rti ramp or a fork lift, so had to find spots where I can check clearances. About perfect, the tires clear the fenders just right. A few issues, but I can fix them with a evo part. Really happy with the dynatrac lift. Plenty of up travel and droop. 20190404_103953.jpeg20190404_103715.jpeg20190404_103704.jpeg20190404_103055.jpeg20190404_100433.jpeg

I really would like these for peace of mind. The shock was really close, pretty much touching the frame. These are on evo mfg website and there's a part number. I just can't find them anywhere. Maybe bubba at exodus can help. Screenshot_20190328-000521_Chrome.jpeg

Seeing these pics is really swaying me towards the fender chop. Your tires stuff nicely and mine rub on the outside of the stock fenders. It’s either trim or more lift and more bumpstop.
