    It worked really well. As far as heating up, I always preheat my cast iron 15 min. or longer. What was really neat, was that while on the stove and with the top on, it provided even heat throughout - top to bottom, side to side.

    Tonight's dinner..

    Bison meatball sliders slow cooked in habanero pineapple barbecue sauce topped with Smokehaus Blue Cheese (I know, I know they are not really a slider but too bad ), steamed fresh broccoli, baked artichoke spinach dip with everything bagel chips and pita chips,

    Made some salsa and pickles a couple weekends ago. And some tri tip in between. Picked up the veggies at a local farmers market.
