Caught the Bug
Roma tomato sauce with hickory smoked green chili peppers and brown sugar, topped with mozzarella cheese, sharp cheddar cheese, sweet onions, yellow bell peppers, black olives and pepperoni.

Lol. Sometimes my wife cooks down Roma tomatoes with sweated onions + carrots, garlic, spices. Tomato paste if she wants it thicker. Looks pretty similar to the ones that come up on Google. Honestly, I think that's how she first started making it.

This is our favorite jarred sauce.

We split it into three 8oz portions, enough for three pizzas.

Whatever sauce we happen to be using (fresh or jarred), sometimes I'll mix in some diced jalapenos or diced green peppers, either canned or sauteed. And then I'll add a couple pinches of brown sugar. I find that whenever I add Chilis to the sauce, a bit of sweetness is the key to marrying the Italian spices with the peppers.
