Caught the Bug
It worked really well. As far as heating up, I always preheat my cast iron 15 min. or longer. What was really neat, was that while on the stove and with the top on, it provided even heat throughout - top to bottom, side to side.

Tonight's dinner..

Bison meatball sliders slow cooked in habanero pineapple barbecue sauce topped with Smokehaus Blue Cheese (I know, I know they are not really a slider but too bad :D), steamed fresh broccoli, baked artichoke spinach dip with everything bagel chips and pita chips,

Oven smothered pork chop. Smothered in Italian dressing and 1 cup of water,covered with tinfoil and oven set to 250-300 depending if it’s gas or electric.
