If I were in your shoes, I would use a Dremel and grind out each hole a little more on the mounting plate. Many mounting plates have elongated holes to accommodate different winches.

That's really unusual. The way those are manufactured and assembled I don't see how they could be off a whole 1/4" :thinking:
I'd grind as well.

It is almost done. Just a little problem with a skid plate not fitting. Did you have this problem? I guess I will elongate the 2 rear holes so it will fit.
