Did a search and didn't find a thread on this topic.

For those who drive this combo, how has it been working out for you?

Any issues? Is the 2.0 picky on the fuel it's fed; prefers premium/runs OK on regular?

I'm considering a Wrangler Sport with this drivetrain. Thanks!

We've had ours for about 3k now. No issues with the power train. We ran 87 octane originally and it would ping going uphill but no performance issues. We run 91 or higher now and no pinging.

I've had mine 6 months and I have used midgrade 89 octane since new, never any problems and runs great. I've never had any pinging and it has plenty of power, the jeep runs good.

Just beware it makes a lot of noises that might make you think it has problems. Ticking, knocking and potentially a backfire type noise on cold startups. Have 30k on mine, super powerful and fun to drive, typically use 93 octane but have used 87 a couple of times, loses mpg but did not notice a drop in power.
