Rockhard 4x4 Tailgate reinforcement
I'm looking at going to a larger tire and wanting to add reinforcements to my tailgate. I don't want to get the evo kit because I want to eventually go with the AEV rear bumper. Does anyone know if the kit from rock hard 4x4 is any good?

IMO it looks a little raw and expensive for utilizing the factory mount. I do like RH and their products though. Their site shows up to a 35” tire for this set up. I won’t mention any brands (don’t want to get flamed by the brand police) but how about a carrier where the hinges and support are integrated and has an adjustable mount?

I have the Evo one and love it. Not as huge as the RH one.

I have a 37 mounted on the rugged ridge, price was right and it's been solid.

I have the Mopar one and fit and finish is fine but it rattles a bit over some bumps definitely over railroad tracks. I have BFG KO2 315/70 on it. I don’t think it’s going to fall off mind you. Just an occasional rattle. I did notice my tailgate seal is flat so there isn’t much to dampen it. I suspect if I replaced the seal it would disappear.
