Motortrend calls the Gladiator’s towing characteristics, “terrifying.”

I find that odd. I spoke to a man who had towed a large Airstream travel trailer, from Atlanta to Jackson, MS. He was using a Gladiator Rubicon. He told me that he ran 70 and 75 mph with no problem at all. Maybe Motortrend drivers aren’t accustomed to towing?

We pull a 27’ Jayco with our gladiator and it does great. Weight distribution hitch is the key.

Looks good. How much do you think that trailer weighs?

The article did say the characteristics became “dangerous” when towing a trailer in windy conditions, which is no fun with any tow vehicle!
