2018 to 20 jl and jt ' Manuals", are going to be recalled for faulty pressure plates . and they have stopped building them as well .

Ya that one . Clutch assembly leaving bell housing, striking fuel lines, causing fire . Not to funny!

Yeah this recall is for real. I have been following a number of cases about the bell housing exploding. Obviously it is happening more than a few rare occurrences.

Here is the latest announcement. The recall is live and you can search your vin.

Lol no don’t do that. You’ll kick yourself later. The 8 speed is really really really nice.

I need convinced to not go manual tranny. I like the idea of a clutch offroading, the ease of pulling power by pushing a clutch. The rest of my family can't drive a stick, so another win for me. Change my mind?
