IMHO...Nope. Whatever you do stay away from K&N. They actually pass more dirt than OEM filters.

An oiled filter passes more dirt? Do you have any links to the info? I would like to read up on it. Thanks

I'd stick with the OEM, just carry a spare. Also there are potential warranty issues if you use an aftermarket filter and/or CAI, even a dealer installed Mopar CAI.
Skip all the blah blah blah pointy head shit & start at the conclusion on page 7 of this doc: https://pdf.sciencedirectassets.com...4a382644842a211-c914da23bad6gxrqa&type=client

Yeah, I am not interested in a CAI, I don't need more intake noise with no real benefit. If I wanted a CAI, I would go for the new Rugged Ridge snorkel. I was concerned about an oiled filter getting gummed up with dust easier than the OEM.
IMHO, there's nothing better than the OE filter especially on the JL. It really is amazing at how well it works.
