I have a permanently mounted radio. Im trying to run the coax without drilling or making existing holes any bigger(due to the NMO connector). Im having trouble finding a way to reconnect the coax if i cut it or something to crimp an NMO to the end. It came with rg174 and have read its not great for withstanding the elements. Should i consider rg400 or something similar? There are multiple tools for splicing the bigger coax, i haven't found anything for the smaller and am unsure if an NMO connector can crimp on the bigger coax
