New Smittybilt XRC Bumper / Gen 3 Winch install

Pulled off my stock plastic bumper for the Smittybilt XRC Stubby and 12k Gen 3 winch.

The addition dropped my front nearly an inch from the factory height. It was a tight squeeze between the winch and grill. While spoiling the line on, I noticed it was rubbing against the wires. Iím going to re-spool under tension, which should correct the issue.

The bumper build quality, weight and welds are very good, even though it wasnít built in the US. Install had zero issues.

The new Smittybilt Gen3 winch is a beast, also made in China Neither of these Smittybilt items came with installation instructions, so youíll have to scour the internet for how toís. I will say that the tiny blue/white wire from the winch that youíre supposed to hook to 12v switched power, ONLY operates the logo light. What a waste, it should kill the whole winch as a safety backup.
