Anyone have this issue yet? Passenger side rear spring perch where welded to frame. Weld has clean break. Jeep has 57,000 miles on it. Waiting to hear from dealer if it is covered. They took pictures and sent to Jeep to find out.

Wow. Crazy shit. What were your symptoms? Or did you just happen to see it while underneath?

Was just under it looking around as I usually do and seen it. I could't believe it. Hopefully it is under warranty but not too hopeful because of the miles on it already. Just got it the end of March 2018.

WTF?? Safe to assume you have one of the very first JLs? Either way, that shit needs to be covered.

I'm watching your video JK-Experience GOLD DUST:TWIN PEAKS now! Awesome as usual. Yes, I think it definitely should be covered. Has me a bit concerned about some of the other welds not looking so great. I'd trade it in and get a new one but too many miles and owe too much.:idontknow:

Contact jeepcares on the forum, they may be able to escalate this past the clueless dealers that will blame this on a cold air intake or an aftermarket radio.

That's awesome you got this fixed so quickly. I have to say that I'm somewhat encouraged that your perch is the first the welder has seen.

Ive seen better. But not bad. Glad he checked other welds while he was there. Really nice guy. Took me out to show welds before he painted them.
