Back Seat: How to Take Out?

I tried taking the back seat out. It’s cramped but I was able to take the floor bolts out. Then I tried to take the seat back out but there’s a flap that is in the way of the upper bolts. I tried prying and pulling and pushing the flap but it won’t come out. Now the metal that the flap is attached to is bent and I don’t want to do more damage.

Is there a special tool I need to detach the connectors?

Thanks in advance.

LOL - I guess I now know why I wasn't sure what you were referring to, I don't have them on my JL

I just removed the 60 portion of my rear seat. I don’t have leather so I didn’t have this piece until I put in the Jeep rear mat which included this. It has metal retainers which hold really well, I pulled straight up really hard to get mine out, I did damage a couple of the retainers and had to straighten out the prongs on some of the others so I could use it again in the future if needed. I can take a pic if you need.
