    275/70r18 KM3 Sahara Upgrade!

Iíve been on the fence for 2 months about doing a 2.5Ē lift & going to 35s or just upgrading to real 33s. After doing a ton of research & being honest with myself about needing 35s versus wanting them I pulled the trigger this am on BF Goodrich KM3s in 275/70r18.

Wow! Itís as if these were the tires actually designed for a Sahara. The fit is perfect with no rubbing at all. I bashed her around a bit in the mud to make sure. They look better than I imagined & Iím confident Iím not getting stuck in the Carolina clay & mud anymore!

I had KM2s on my JK and these are night & day better on road. At 65 there is a slight whirring, but noting at all like the KM2s. Of course they track the road a bit, but no pull like you hear about with Ridge Grapplers. I donít even need to recenter my steering wheel.

They sent me out at 36psi, which I may drop a bit for on road. Iím super pleased with them. If youíve got a Sahara & are on the fence like me do it! Also definitely consider KM3s if youíre in the market for mud terrains.

Shout out to Discount Tire who helped me out here on DM as well as a terrific in-store experience!

Thanks guys! After all the research I did and watching/reading reviews I'm totally happy. I figured a lot of the "you won't believe how good these are on the road" stuff was going to be BS, but so far that's the most impressive part. Tomorrow I'm going to see how good they really are.

Does this mean you decided against the lift? I have the 32in KM2s on my JL Sport right now. Been debating lift and that same tire you picked up.

I have a Sahara so I think there's a difference in shocks & springs to a sport, but no lift here. Also, my wheels are 18".

Not very bad at all. My KM2s (JK rubicon take offs) were way louder.
