    Weekend lift install

Finally got the 2.25” RRD shocks that were back ordered for my Rock Krawler “Adventure Series 3” Stage 1 lift kit. So I spent the weekend in my driveway putting the lift in. I also installed JKS sway bar disconnects.

I was a little nervous about how the kit was going to ride after reading some negative reviews on here and elsewhere online about a stiff ride.. but I’ve got to say that I couldn’t be happier with the ride. (Maybe the negative experiences were with their twin tube shock?) I would say that the spring rates are maybe slightly higher than stock.. but even with the 4cyl and soft top I wouldn’t describe the ride as “harsh” in any way. I’m very happy with the kit. I will report back with how durable the joints end up being over the long term.

I also have a set of ROAM off-road frame mount sliders tat are going on next.

Thanks! I forgot to mention.. it’s a 2.5” lift. “Series 3” just means it comes with all 8 control arms and front track bar.. and rear track bar relocation bracket.

I didn’t measure how much actual lift it gave me though.

Thanks. I know black wheels are the hot thing right now.. that’s kind of why I went with those wheels. Wanted it to stand out. Pretty much exert modified Jeep in my area has black wheels.
