Thanks for confirming. Though one spec was 3.75" backspacing, so I guess that makes it easy for you to just run 1" spacers. I haven't seen too many (if any?) 3.75" backspace wheels, so I could see picking a nice 3.5" bs wheel should be easy.
Kind of a bummer, as I know it would be nice to keep that increased backspacing (as I would as well).
So my next question...and what I've been debating, is will you be going with 68.5 Dynatrac axles keeping the 3.5" backspace or go to 72.5 axles with 5.5" bs? How close is the end of the Dynatrac hub face to the face of a typical 8.5" wheel with a 5.5" bs? I can't tell you how many hours I've been contemplating these options.
Crazy how much travel you get with these coil overs. From what I read you have to run limit straps if you don't run long arms. Awesome job and choice on your lift! Looking awesome

Just curious: 1) how many hours did it take for the guys to complete the work? 2) does Off Road Evolution charge a flat labor rate per install or an hourly labor charge? One less thing to worry aboutSo, unlike some coilover kits that force you to have a sky high stance, EVO has always been known for making kits that allow you to keep a nice low stance. Needless to say, we set ours to sit at about 3.5" of lift and that's pretty much where we were sitting before. This made our existing drive shafts work just fine :yup:

I agree, its the only way I'd have it done, strictly by them. Just wish they were a lot closer. My wife is very happy with them where they are, hahahahaWith Rubicon axles, 3.5" of back spacing is what I would recommend if only because there are so many wheel choices available. When it comes time to upgrading axles, 72.5" would be ideal and I would probably run a wheel with more back spacing. 5.5" is ideal but they are hard to find.
This is correct. Even the rear sway bar drop brackets come with tabs for limiting straps. The amount of travel you get with this kit is unreal especially being that you can still run it at a low stance. :yup:
So glad you enjoyed the video and yes, if having Off Road Evolution do the work for you is an option, I would highly recommend it if only because you can be sure they will do excellent work. :yup:

My OE rear drive shaft is chewing up my gas tank skid. Going to have to do something about it soon.
Would you get the same travel numbers with shock and coil vs the coil overs (EVO pro system vs evo spec king shocks and springs..)? I know the benefits of dual rate coils etc just curious if it would help the travel numbers as well. Trying to plan out my suspension build so I don't do things twice..or three times haha
Coil overs would be the bees knees but another 3K on to the build total may have to wait a while.
