    Trail foods

Wondering what kind of foods do y'all pack in your jeep or cooler when going out on the trail for the day.

I typically take pretzels, water, and peanut butter sandwiches.

Depends what the trip consists of but with a fridge I can and have taken anything and everything. Including ice cream.

What kind of fridge do you have? Does it take up much space?

Arb. Not anymore space than a cooler would.

Fridge is the way to go. We have kids so we try to keep things easy. My wife and I usually get those premaid salads from the grocery store and lunchables for the kids. Sometimes we do diy lunchables below. We also bring dried fruit like mangos and apricots, etc.

I have the 50qt, same size as Overlander I think. Here's a pic of it in the Jeep. It gets the job done well IMO.

Thanks. I was looking at the dometic the other day. But I just love my old metal Coleman.

Donít get rid of that that! But a fridge is a game changer. It took me 5 years to buy one. It should be the first purchase any Jeep owner makes.
