That's what we did on our JK like that. Just used gluelam board and roll on bedliner. Cheap and easy. And yes we did have to fold down the back seat to get it in.

Got the tuffy security deck enclosure installed in my 2-door JL today. Everything fit together fine and no fitment issues with the Jeep. It’s a nice setup but I’m not sure it’s $400 nice. Still have the hardtop on cause the weather has been crap here. If you don’t need the security and have the ability I would consider doing something like WJCO suggested. I plan to make a cargo basket on top at some point.
