How to remove front passenger seat from JLU with heated seats

Hi all,

I'm trying to install a CB. I have everything installed but am having a heck of a time getting to the hot wire that Eddie used. We found it but my buddy and I are both disabled vets and are unable to twist ourselves into position to complete the hook up so we thought removing the passenger seat would give us more room. I have tried to look it up online but have been unable to find anything on removing the front passenger seat (it is heated). I know it's more work this way but we should be able to complete the installation with it out (unless one of you have a better idea).

Thanks in advance,

Steve

I have removed mine a couple of times. 4 torx bolts and lean it back and unplug the two harnesses underneath. Should not be a problem.

there is an airbag in the side of the seatback, right? probably a good idea to disconnect the battery first.
