    I had the one that you have to put the d ring through. Used it for a whole a weekend and chucked it. Went back to the hook

    I just hook mine to the tow hook and give it a little snug to keep from rattling, 🤷🏻*♂️🤷🏻*♂️🤷🏻*♂️.

    I have one of those, too. And Iíve also never used it. Iíve never used my winch at all. Thatís a good thing. With luck, the first time Iíll use it is to rescue someone else

    I had the thimble style spent all day at my buddies farm pulling a truck and tractor out of the mud in pouring rain in 33į wet cold gloves are not fun when trying to mess with a d ring. So I went back to the standard hook. Since th ed n I've used the winch for everything from recovery to pulling fence posts and stumps.

    This, got tired of messing with those thimbles and just went back to a quality hook.

    Same here. Left the thimble on when I traded it in. So glad to be rid of it.

    I got a pretty decent deal on my used bumper package and it came with a Factor 55 flatlink
