Rear hatch light installed

Installed one of the lights on the rear hatch last night. I need to wire it to the dome light, this is plugged into the 12V plug in the cargo area currently. Garage is pitch black with the light off. I tried to upload a small video but it's not supported so here is a screenshot the light on.

I put one of those on also. Got it from amazon and came with a remote that dims and brightens. Super bright !

I'd also like to know how you mounted the light. We've been looking at a light option for the back of our Jeep. Since we run a soft top half the year, I was considering mounting it to one or more of the following locations:
Back of third brake light
Back roll bar; either cross bar or both side bars.

It's not just a Jeep, it's an amusement park on wheels.

Very cool. Brawley light. I’d installed very similar right into dome light and use the remote to adjust. Mine came with a 12 volt plug in for the rare times I want to use without the dome light.
