Project Oversize

I made it in my 2 door JK without damage.83" wide outside of tire with 37s.My stock JL sport is about 74".A 4 door Rubi would be tough to get through without some fender scrapes but it could be done i think.A 2 door JL would be fine though i bet.

Got the Warn Zeon 10s installed over the weekend. It was a pain in the butt to get to the inside of the frame rail bolts but I got it and think it looks great. I also wired up the under seat mount for ARB dual air compressor. I love this thing. Got to save my back and fill and lower all 4 tires really quickly.

Did a quick day trip out to Fish Creek Canyon with some friends. Had a stock jk who was a new driver and she didn't feel comfortable doing anything crazy so just had a fun day exploring the canyon. awesome good for you guys. Fish creek wash is a cool run. Not every run has to be hard in order to be fun. Good jeeps and good Jeep people is all you need.

Also how’s the sound. Being inside I’m assuming it’s crazy load. How long did it take you to fill all the tires ? For reference I’m trying to compare a power tank to a compressor....

Honestly everyone was out of the Jeep and talking like doubletapdaddy was saying so the noise was really no issue. I'm sure it would get annoying if you were sitting inside with it but we ended up just hanging out. I did not time it but it was less then 10 minutes. I'll time it next time because I am also curious.

Is there interference with the HVAC vent located under the front seat?
I don't believe there is any interference. It is tight under there but the front and the back of it is clear and I have the doors open while doing it. I've been keeping an eye on it due to how close everything is but so far I haven't heard of anyone having issues with this set up.

Did you have to drill holes to mount or able to use existing? And did you wire direct to battery or aux switch?

The only holes I drilled we're in the front outside leg of the driver and passenger side to mount up the air inputs. If you don't want that part you wouldn't need to drill any holes. The bracket gets held in place by the rear bolts on the passenger seat if that makes sense.

Got the ARB 50 mounted on a DFG fridge slide. I wanted it on the driver side so I could access the fridge and still use the tailgate table. This required some trimming of the slide and adding a new rivet since I cut two of them off. I had to drill through the floor and do rivet nut inserts so I could bolt down the right side of the slide. The left side of the slide just bolted into the existing bolts that hold down the tie downs in the rear. 20190407_193612.jpeg20190407_122133.jpeg20190407_115603.jpeg

Got some more stuff done this weekend. Got the Evo Mfg JL truss and c gusset kit welded on.

Also installed a 67 designs phone mount. Feels sturdy and not gonna lie I think it looks good.

And finally, found out Baja Designs is down the street from me so went over there and picked up the plug and play squadron pro fog lights. Super simple install. I went with the Amber color since I'm so close to the desert and there frequently. Hoping this helps with visibility.20190413_141821.jpeg20190413_141611.jpeg20190413_131954.jpeg20190413_131947.jpeg20190413_153905.jpeg20190413_152014.jpeg
