Jeep Dealer Disaster

I’ve found 2 great dealers and 5 shitty ones so far. I don’t think I would’ve handled it as well as you. Best of luck.

For future reference to others, no dealer that I am aware of (of any make save for maybe rolls royce) has anyone on staff that is equipped with knowledge of leatherwork, be it steaming, hogrings, etc. If your heated seat dies and they determine it's the pad, I would push for a new seat replacement, as no one on staff will be able to do the job properly.

It isn’t hard. I replaced the cloth seats in an anvil two door I had, with red seats, like the 10th Anniversary Rubicon, hog rings and all.

Your install is cleaner than some upholstery shops that I've seen. Everything is easy when you take your time, do it right, and if it's not right, do it again. Your skill level also seems to be above averaget. Trust me, almost all "professional" upholstery work has been pretty shoddy.
