How much shorter is the Sport tie rod? Did you try to fit it at all?
You know I just called the dealer and they gave me the same part numbers for both the Rubicon and Sport for all Tie-Rod/ Tie-rod ends/ inner tie rod pieces etc.

not sure what you where told but this is what i was told .
i bought my axles from mopar and i talked to the guy that sold them to me and this is what he told me...............

look at your diagram #9 has 2 part numbers.... dana 44 and one for dana 30......

I see now. I imagine you could probably just buy that piece and re use the outer pieces? Since they are same.

I actually do not see different part numbers for the drag link pieces only the Tie rod...lol. Sorry for being a pain but I am trying to figure this out too! Where do you see the rubicon drag link part number being different than the sport? That 68309364AA is a Tie rod piece and the so is the 6825875AB
Perhaps your dealer gave you those part numbers?

not sure what to tell ya... i pulled a Rubicon vin # and my sport vin, and they are NOT the same..
so you and I are looking at 2 different things..
so my rubicon stuff will be here this week i am hoping i will measure the parts and let you know....
this is all new to me going as i go.:thumb:

68309364aa is socket,drag link. Not tie rod......................

Guess I haven’t been following this but the Rubicon axles are wider so why would the tie rod be the same length?

we know.. it was about the drag link,,i was told it was the same on the rubicon and other models , so i had to prove it was not.
