So what happened to the white JL which had to be winched down? Broken ring gear? Fixed?

There was a whole lot of ouch in that days wheeling. And some serious excitement when Mel got sideways. Did he accidentally drop into neutral? Starting to worry about these new axles - not that I have taken the JL anywhere.
    Matt

Do the speed bumps at the mall count as crawlin?

N.S.D.Q.! and Army ........... ummm, we don't have a slogan anymore.

    18 JLUR - white, 13 JKUR - white (gone), 09 JKUR - white (gone), stock 85 CJ7 - red - in storage.
6 other 4x4 trucks (but only have 1 now-of course it is white too).

The jeep kicked into neutral would be my guess. He tried to throttle out and it kicked into neutral.

Wow I loved the video. What I really enjoy about your videos is the flow of them. Often I watch videos where I see 20 vehicles do the same obstacle or a bunch of attempts at different lines. Thanks again for what you do.

Great video. For those of us less experienced, its great to see the recovery efforts. And a good reminder not to get in over your head.
