Bridgeport / Laurel Lakes, Mammoth

Just a quick trip down to Bridgeport and Mammoth (Laurel Lakes) from Lake Tahoe. We first hit the Dunderberg Mill area, which connected us to Virginia Lakes Road. Then headed south to Laurel Lakes, a quick jump in a hot spring, and ended at the June Lake Brewery! Nice little day...

Ghost, I forgot to ask. Did you take the highway down to Mammoth or did you dirt road it from Virginia Lakes?

Yeah, we just took the highway down from Virginia Lakes Rd to Laurel. From the June Lake Brewery, we rapped around Mono on a dirt road back to Pole Line Road. If we had another night, I would have take route NF-058 / NR-026 to Lucky Boy Pass (ends in Hawthorn) back home to Tahoe.

We’ve been through that area a few times. Would like to camp and explore that area a bit more. Thanks for sharing.
