    I decided on the 3.6 because I felt it was the simpler setup of the two.

    I liked the performance and additional mileage of the 2.0 but felt the complexity would tie me to the dealer for service.

    I'm with ya on that. I keep vehicles for a loooong time. I didn't want to deal with potential battery replacement(s) & such on down the road.

    exactly, a lot to be said on being able to pick up a replacement battery pretty much anywhere and easy swap.
