Yes, the wheel mount has provisions to convert to 8 lug.

Curious, i already own the carrier but how do you convert to 8 lug? is it just a new adapter piece?

Got mine installed the other day. Super solid with the 37 on it. All the body lines match up with the tailgate, but the latch seems to hit just a bit when closing now. Is there a way to adjust the latch?

I replaced an ADD bumper mounted tire carrier with the EVO carrier and I can say itís quite comforting to have my 37Ē tire snugged up against the tailgate rather than stick out 7 inches from the tailgate in an effort to transfer the overall weight to the frame via the bumper. The ADD rattled like hell and the tire moved quite a bit on rough roads. Downright scary if it ever fell off!! EVO makes a great carrier and worth the money I think.

How is the powder coating on your carriers? Just asking if I should get the coated one or a bare one

Iíve had powder coated items before that seemed to scratch easily. The coating on my tire carrier looks stronger or maybe they have better ways to apply it now, but it looks like itís going to be pretty durable.

Buy the coated version and save yourself the time and trouble. Itís cheaper to buy it coated from EVO and whoever is doing their powder coating does a great job.

I have to agree on the EVO powder coating. It's pretty stout.
