It’s great to hear that there is a fix for this problem but why isn’t this covered under warranty? And, does anyone know if there is a fix for the dual top rear electrical/hose clip?

Unfortunately, this is all too often the case with dealership service departments. When they were looking at my reverse light that wasn't working, I heard the technician crack the plastic trying to open the sealed tail light. He said he didn't break anything but the lights are still intermittently failing. Still trying to get it replaced under warranty. As for me, I stay clear of dealership service departments as much as I can. You think I'm gonna deal with them ....sit there... let them friggg with my vehicle .... so I can say, save $3.78. No way I would ever do that...
For the record, I don't even let the dealer do the free tire rotations and oil changes that I am entitled to. I know better.
Sure this is covered under warranty. Dealership Service Department just has to see it drip/that it dripped and you will get the $3.78 part installed under warranty.
