A Couple of Tips for Removing the Doors on a Jeep Wrangler JL

We've created a series of videos with Tony Carvallo to help Jeep enthusiasts learn more about their new Jeep Wrangler JL. Tony was the Jeep product planner at FCA, and is now an engineer at Dynatrac.

When it comes to removing the doors on a JL, there are a couple of differences compared to a JK. This video shows the differences and provides a tip for those who want to eliminate the door detents.

Holy shit. I feel retarded. Why didn't I think about the door hold-open "delete"? It's unnatural, to me, on a Jeep. It's also a pain to disconnect without scratching the paint. I was just mulling over this a couple days ago.... thank you for another helpful video. I think I've put every single video you've posted to use, except the neutral fail-safe *knock on wood*
