I bet that's not totally true. Unfortunately based on regulatory issues electrification is pretty much becoming the "cost of doing business" to the auto OEMs. Don't really have a choice and as of now customers are really willing to pay a premium for it. No one (including Tesla) is actually making money on them. There are benefits to electrification in many vehicles, customers just don't care when gas is where it is now. Oh well guess we will see...
