My 600+ page "Big Kahuna" owner's manual arrived today. I ordered it via Jeep Chat. It took a total of 9 days for delivery. Much quicker than I had anticipated. Thank goodness, because I've been wanting a portable winch anchor point. Or maybe I can use it under my stock scissors jack once I lift the Jeep, in lieu of an AEV jack base.

It was designed to double as a spacer lift.

Plates came in today...

We pretty much have a family of geeks. Our last several automobiles had/have names or plates inspired by Star Wars characters. My JK was named Chopper, and the plate was C1-10P - a Star Wars droid from the animated series Star Wars Rebels.

This time around we changed things up a bit...

Haha - very cool!

I'm a Star Wars fan and a few years back I made a "Tire" Fighter for a tire swing competition that was hosted at my office. BFG likes to share it on their social channels on "May 4th"

Finally found time to lose the rear bumper. Now I've just got a fab a plate holder and add plate lights.

I love the look of the no rear bumper. I'm curious about the benefits, bedsides looking awesome? I can see the need for removing the factory steel bumper but I'm wondering about other reasons for removing the factory plastic bumper and any downside to running no rear?
