All right, I'm done farting around with those little tiny Torx screws that hold on my current bracket, brake light and camera. I ordered the Mopar CHMSL relocation kit. Still a pain in the ass, but definitely geared toward my big fat clumsy thumbs.

I did the same thing. It’s pretty easy to take off compared to the Evo bracket.
You just reminded me to keep a torx 45 in the jeep to get it off if needed.

Definitely gonna have to make sure I throw that in my bag. Too bad they didn't make use of the long T40 Torx Bit that came in the Mopar JL Tool Kit.

Those parts might look good if they actually get installed. Lol

Yeah, no shit. My biggest setback has been that I don't know how to weld (EVO LAs). Well, that and the weather. I know I don't live in the Rust Belt, but my first winter in Colorado Springs really ate up my JK beadlocks. I've never seen aluminum pitting so severe, and I was raised on salted New York roads. I figured I'd just wait until spring to put on the Kings. Hopefully the end of this month.

Well, I finally got to raid my own front porch, but before we find out what's in the box...

For years I have loved and dreamed of one day adorning a Wrangler with "King Blue" accessories. So beautiful, it's like jewelry for a Jeep.

However, EVO-Spec Kings for the JL are anodized black. Even though the Springs are still blue, I think they make the traditional EVO-Spec bumps look a little off, sort of like an afterthought. This is a picture I grabbed from FB. Although I have the EVO/KING COs, they are still in boxes.

I didn't know if it was a thing either, so I PM'd Robert (kingsize) @ EVO MFG last week and he provided me with P/N EVO-600081B. Same as the standard, but with a "B" at the end. Thank you Robert! :thumb:

Had a similar experience with FOX recently when I put a 4" lift on my F-150... Always liked the pop of raw aluminum on the remote reservoir, but these showed up anodized black
