Good job on the hoist. Post up how you made it. Welcome to JL Wrangler!

Actually started here for the design. I saw someone that had rigged up a similar hoist system.

For my part, I wanted it to be easy to take on and off. It has two 2:1 block and tackle systems, so total lift weight is around 30lbs.

Also, instead of a boxed solution (cheapest of which seems to be priced at $160 for a manual lift, and higher for electric hoist), mine all-in (including electric hoist from Amazon) has turned out to be about $150.

Parts list:
-3x 96" 2x4s
-Box of 25 - 3&3/4" concrete anchors (instead of lag bolts, since these were self tapping)
-2x hammock hangar kits for 4 of the 600lb strength u-hook plates
-6x 20m 400lb pulleys (4 of which had ceiling mount plates attached)
-4x 50ft of 550lb Paracord for the lift side
-220lb/440lb electric hoist
-48" galvanized pipe (to hang hoist)
-10x of steel pipe hangars/straps
-3" marine-grade ring

I'll post a fuller build description/steps in a bit, when not putting kids to bed.
