heading to Colorado Aug 2nd-5th next week

wife and i are heading to Loveland Aug 2-5th driving the JL sport from IOWA
her cousin has a jeep we are going to hit some trails...

my jeep does not have lockers yet..... so he said we will go on the Red Cone trail.....
looks kinda weak to me,,lol is there anything that would a little funner , ??

anyway just though i would ask..............or if anyone needs to get out and hit a trail lets go.. thanks Pete

We're doing the same thing the following week. Have a great time and post where you go. We're looking for some easy trails to make our trip more memorable. We'll be checking this thread for your updates to plan our fun.


It's not just a Jeep, it's an amusement park on wheels.

Red Cone is fun and the views are breath-taking. You'll have fun.

Another cool one is Middle Saint Vrain/Coney Flats (they can be done together) and you shouldn't need lockers.

You could also do the T33 plane crash trail. Lockers would help, but I've made it through without them.

Alright, we're eager to see where you went and which trails you took!

We're heading out to Colorado Springs, Pike's Peak & Rocky Mountain National Park next week.

so we had a great trip got back last night...
we stayed in Loveland,Co
the trails we hit ........Middle ST Vrain / Coney Flats and Kelly Flats ..
climbing up Hardtack hill being open front and back was interesting , but i made it up there..... my buddy in the JK had a locker up front ..
cant wait to head back out there again, it was worth the 10hr drive....

Awesome pics. So glad you got to do Coney/MSV. I grew up in that area and love the scenery and those trails are a blast.
