Hi everyone, been lurking here for a while, soaking in jeep info. Ordered a JLUR at the beginning of June and am looking forward to being back in the jeep world. I'm currently driving a 1997 land cruiser with 217,000 miles and the Rubicon looks to be a great replacement for my tired ride. In the past I've owned a '78 CJ-5, 1984 CJ-7, two YJs, 1999 TJ (lost to the river), and a '75 bronco.

Looking forward to getting back into the jeep world!

A snorkel is definitely on the list for the JL! That is my TJ in the avatar...it floated down the river pretty well but it was definitely a scary situation. Wife wasn’t to fond of my off-roading hobby for a looooong time after that!

yes Wheeling in Alaska can be difficult at times.
