Yesterday, we drove up to the Niagara Rim OHV trail in Stanislaus NF. We had been there last 15 years ago in a MBZ ML430. Needless to day, with that vehicle we didn't do much of the trail. But it's a lot easier for a JLUR:

Nice pics. Looks like you had a great time! Awful off-road efficiency I didn’t understand. I’m assuming the JL performed admirably.

Yeah, the Jeep worked just fine. 7mpg seems pretty awful but actually, it’s not bad for off-roading. It was worse (4mpg?) during the more difficult part of the trail; the last 1/2 was 2wd.
