I have the same kind of click type noise... I have also read about this noise on several different pages. I have a appointment tomorrow with my dealer and we shall see what happens... My jl is still stock so it has nothing to do with your lift

Welp, just spoke to the technician who worked on my jeep. both upper and lower ball joint nuts were excessively loose. ( stock jeep but have been off road plenty of times ) The technician properly set torque on all 4 ball joints and installed new cotter pins. the noise has not happened since

Well, I guess I stand corrected. Not a real settling thing to know that a ball joint nut was loose from the factory. Glad you were able to get this fixed.

The worst one was the drivers upper ball joint nut. He read the torque on it before adjusting the nut with his electronic snap on torque wrench.... Only 22 ftlbs facotry calls for 55 ftlbs
