I had a 2009 JKU and sold it a couple of years ago. Miss it so much. Plan on getting a Rubicon within the next 6 months. I wish they would hurry up and reveal the JL so I can make up my mind.

It will be either a JKUR or JLUR that I hope to get. Just wish I knew more about the JL. I think in the end it's not going to be too different than the JK.

From everything we've seen so far, it should be a lateral move kind of like the YJ was from the CJ. It'll have differences for sure but I'd be willing to bet that a LOT will be the same or at least, in terms of suspension and the like. This as opposed to what the JK was like compared to the TJ where I'm not even sure if 2 bolts were the same.

I'm leaning towards a JKUR. Mainly because aftermarket parts are readily available and I would assume will be cheaper than JL parts

It is very likely that the JL will not be all that different than the JK especially in terms of suspension components. If that's the case, parts should be readily available and cost about the same.
