These are not just covers, these are a direct replacement of your factory cloth seat covers.

After 8 years and nearly 600 kits distributed on other forums, I've decided to offer Custom JL Leather Interiors right here through this forum as well.
Each Katzkin kit is designed specifically for your JL by you. Whether you go with an OEM Factory look or design something one off to meet your personal tastes, Katzkin has the kit and options for you. With several Leather colors, TekStitch (diamond), Suedezkin, Perforation and textured vinyls such as carbon fiber, camo etc. the options are endless.
This too would be the time to add those heated seats as well!

Visit Katzkin's Vehicle Interior selector below to see several Katzkin designed kits

The JL Sport front seats have a black plastic insert. How does this come out for install on these seats. Since your video is for a JK, those seats do not have this feature. Do the levers come out the same way in the JL as the JK?

If I recall the large lever has a cover that when removed will reveal just two toed screws. The round adjustment knob has a cover on it as well. The rubber looking dimpled Inset on that knob needs to get pried out. Best to use small flathead or small hook to get ahold of it. Itís tight but will pop off and shoot across the garage.

Installed the leather on the front seats that I received from John. As someone that's done a lot of mechanical work but zero upholstery work there was definitely a learning curve

With a lot of patience I was able to finish both seats in 6-7 hours total, which included a lot of breaks because installing hog rings in tight areas sucks and the playoffs were on. I assume the JK is a lot easier since there's no side airbag or maybe I just did it in the wrong order.

Anyways, I'm more than pleased with the final product but not looking forward to tackling the back

Looks great. Upholstery is a pain in the ass. Nice work.
