After waiting for a while to get our new Jeep built and delivered, and the drama with our 13 JKUR: Here is our JLUR. (Like it looks different from others).

The 13. Before stripping it.

Ready to trade it. Felt like a completely different Jeep.

But it had a brand new transfer case (#4 in 48k miles) and new rear drive shaft.

And the drum roll please. :thumb: :wings:

After the 6 1/2 hour drive from MO to AR, which took us over 10, just because.

Yes, the sexy blond came with it. But is a very pricey option.

It was built just for us. So we HAD to buy it.

Driving 5 1/2 hours to Oklahoma, and really happy. :yup:,:D
except getting there at midnight. :(
(Another 6 hours home at the end of the week)

After a bath, had to pressure wash 350 miles of bug guts off.

Awesome. Congrats. Looks like you're having fun with it.

Thanks, yes we are. Had to put everything back on so the wife could run into Norman. She was ready to drive with the doors off, but we are expecting more storms tonight.

Oklahoma Jeep storm stack (hide in the shop, last night.)

That is my sister’s yellow 15 JKR that got t-boned Saturday while she was sitting at a stop sign. Did some damage, but she is ok. Likely needs a new axle, can you say PR44 ( fingers crossed).

This is with the steering wheel straight (it is about 180 degrees off now). The front end was shoved about 4-5 feet sideways.

Oh, and she just paid it off in the last month. It will get fixed.

Finally! It looks great but it's time you got it to look like this...

It's not just a Jeep, it's an amusement park on wheels.

Dropped windshield with bumper caps on is just plain wrong... jk. Your JL looks awsome. Congratulations on finally sorting out your other dilemma and finally getting this one.

Now remove those bumper caps.

Finally got it. Thanks.

The windshield isn’t CJ easy, but still amazingly easy. Only tricky part is putting the windshield wipers back on. My sister asked me if her JK windshield goes down, I said yes but....

So what mods you going to be doing

I’m waiting for some options. Probably 2-2.5” lift. Probably 35s for starters and then 37s in 2 years after I retire from the Army.

Figure out where to mount my ARB twin. I have an idea on the CB, but still looking at antennae options. And run the wires for my ARB fridge. EVO rock rails when they come out. Tazer JL.

Who knows right now.

Sounds like a nice list. Good luck on finding a spot to mount your twin ARB, not very many options there. I heard one guy mounted his under the rear seat. No room under front seats for anything.

Love my 2" lift and 35s. So far for the wheeling we do, that's all we need.

That’s what I did. There’s lots of room under the back seat. And a convenient hole to run the wires thru the floor (under the carpet). There’s a picture of what I did in another thread here somewhere.

If I remember correctly, it fits under the back seat nicely but does not allow the rear seat to fully fold down though.
