Unable to receive text messages

Hey guys! Just got my 2018 JLU Rubicon!!! I have an Iphone 6 and I pairef it with my Uconnect 8.4 via Bluetooth. Works fine as a media player and as a phone, however, my text message button is greyed out and the system says I need to set up my Bluetooth connection. I couldn’t find any trouble shooting anywhere. If anyone knows how to be fix the problem please let me know!! Btw first time jeep owner, loving it so far!! Glad to be a part of this community. Thanks in advance

Just to make sure, are you running the latest software update on your phone?

I haven’t even checked on the text feature myself. But I did find these couple vid links. I’ll need to check this myself.

An Army buddy has this radio in his truck. Only problem is that it seems to have a really filthy mouth when we would take his truck for lunch. :yup:
