Sorry I may be the bigger idiot here but, what exactly happened? Did the rear end seize up so they wanted to pull him out? Or was the driver just holding the breaks? I wouldn’t have kept pulling once seeing the rear tires not rolling.

Actually I take that back, he wasn’t tugging on the axle because eventually the body gets dragged over it. Seems like they wedged the axle and kept tugging on the body until they literally ripped the axle off. Great ad for a winch though, solid amount of power lol

I couldn't stop watching this video not believing they were dragging the truck with none of the tires moving.

Are the Tacoma’s leaf spring? Guy at work has a lifted tundra and apparently they have an issue where the leaf spring ubolts can come loose and the axel shifts while driving. His did it in the parking lot and caused the bed swing into a pole.
