Remote Start

Hey all,

We wanted the remote start in our JLUR but it wasn’t available so we settled without it in our Jeep. I am curious though, is there actually a Jeep OEM part to it or could it actually already be there and I just need to hack my way into it? Lol.

I spoke with an installer from around here and he said that he can install a unit that could use the factory remote (click lock 3x) and that got me thinking, or maybe wishing. Lol

In the jk if you didn’t get remote start then part of the package when ordering it was the vehicle antenna I believe and that installed behind the dash. My guess is this will be similar but so far I have not seen a Mopar kit. If you don’t have it and don’t mind another keyfob, then aftermarket usually has better distance and two way radio so the keyfob can indicate if it started. I like it being built into the stock key so I went with factory. My guess is wait it out, I don’t even know what aftermarket is available for the JL yet.
