So here’s the dilemma, I get a bonus at work that isn’t cash. It’s $3200 to spend on something I want. I first thought vacation, but then something clicked. So I was wondering if I should do front or rear coilovers from EVO and then get the second half later. I will stick with my Core4x4...
It’s about a 3 foot strap I got at a surplus supply store.
I just use the locks on the JL soft top and this keeps the lowered top from bouncing and catching air.

I’m running 13.5s on 17x9 beadlocks with 3.5 backspacing. They will not fit stock rims without spacers. Mine still rub the fender flares with EVO 2.5” lift.

Looks like Jeep is addressing the complaints of steering wander, pull left or right and excess play in the wheel. The service bulletin calls for replacement of the aluminum steering box and replacing it with a steel one.
I talked to our service manager and it looks like parts should be...
Finally got a chance to work on the Gladiator. Got the Mopar lift lower control arms in and don’t have to fight it on the highway anymore. Tracks nice and straight.
Also added Rugged Ridge entry guards. They are much nicer than the Mopar one in my JL.
And had to get rid of the chrome...
So while I was working on the front bumper over the last little while. Decided to upgrade a few things. Got a new fairlead as the last one went to shit thanks to Wisconsin winters and added some Baja Designs fog lights.

Started the spring cleaning, aka rust removal. Pulled the bumper and winch off. Stripped the bumper to bare metal and tried out VHT roll bar and chassis paint. It’s looks great but interested to see how it holds up.
Also the aluminum upper support on the winch by the control box was corroded...
