What to expect/plan for 35's on JLUR?

It depends on the 35's. I had 315 KO2's and it was fine. I moved to 35x12.5x17 Grabber X3's and the slight increase in diameter, from 34.6 to 34.9 made 6th gear a bit of a pain. Overall, though, it is tolerable. 1st through 5th is perfectly fine. 6th is ok at 70 and up but hills or headwinds...

WTB Factory JL Rubicon Steel Bumper (Wingsn not necessary) Near Indiana

I bumped my bumper, so I need another! Put a nice big smash dent right in the middle of it. Anybody got a takeoff? Let me know! I'd drive up to a few hours to buy it. Thanks! Update....No longer needed. I ordered one and it will arrive soon.

Anybody Running Baja Designs' LP6 Lights?

I'm getting ready to order a set of these bad boys. I'm just trying to decide between the spot or driving/spot combo. I'm leaning toward the combo, but wanted to see if anyone here has them and what their thoughts/experiences are. Thanks!

    Tuffy Tailgate Lockbox Installed!

Here are a couple pics...I put some rubberized tool droor liner from Walmart on the shelves and inside the door to dampen any movement of cargo. It's now ready for Moab!

    Tuffy Tailgate Lockbox Installed!

Yesterday I installed the tailgate lockbox, and it is NICE. I did modify it slightly. I cut a little over a quarter inch off the spacers to get it closer to the tailgate. Without doing that, there was a big gap that I didn't like. Anyway, install was a breeze. Next up will be to put some...

Who Has Done the Rimrocker Trail?

I know I've asked before in another part of the forum, but I'm looking for any info I can get on the Rimrocker. Has anyone done it? I've heard there is a nice campground about halfway through. Any info would be great! Thanks!

Moab in October via the Rimrocker Trail

A few buddies and I are heading out to Moab in October! We're going first to Montrose, CO, then going the rest of the way to Moab on the Rimrocker trail. It is said to be 162 miles long, if not taking any of the optional routes. It should be a blast. Right now we've got my two Jeeps (JK and...

Mopar lift JL JLU Jeep Wrangler

IMHO, it looks perfect. That clearance is good and required for serious off-road capability. To me, function IS form. That's in the DNA of the Wrangler's styling. Plus, 35's are just right. You don't lose much power, but with that package, you ground clearance and breakover angle are...

Rattle/clunking In Rear End Mopar 2" Lift

I have a rattle/clunking sound coming from the rear of my Jeep, I think on the driver side, but I'm not sure. It sounds like something is loose. Even if I roll over the lip of my garage floor, I can hear it. It is greater when I go over it again in the opposite direction. I'm planning on...

    Hello from Danville, Indiana!

Hello! I've had my JLUR with 6 speed manual for about 3 weeks now. I've put 315/70/17 BFG KO2's (C load range) on it, along with a Mopar 2" lift. I've ordered a CB radio and have a winch waiting for the Mopar steel bumper winch kit. I've got just over 1,000 miles on it now, and I'm looking...
